Liberty League Implodes After Department of Fair Trading Rules it an illegal Pyramid scheme
We have received many complaints from this outfit for months with many victims of the scam losing up to as much as $50,000.
It was only a matter of time before the authorities had to act and finally the NSW Department Of Fair Trading has released its May Report that Liberty League is in fact an illegal pyramid scheme.
We believe this is based on the fact that Liberty League products were not retail products but simply over inflated and expensive seminars only purchased because of the money making scheme attached.
Consumer Warning suggests that's consumers wanting to build a home base business should seek companies that have programs that sell genuinely to retail consumers without the need for money making incentives and not blatant overly priced programs of little or no value.
Any one promoting Liberty League or its new name can now face jail sentences and fines up to $110,000.
If you yourself are a Liberty League associate or have been you should seek legal action re your rights to defend potential claims that maybe brought against you by anyone you induced into the business.
See www.ozsoapbox.com/personal/liberty-league/liberty-league-a-scam-in-oz-polaris-media-group-next/ for Department of Fair Tradings Ruling.
To attempt to circumnavigate the law Liberty League has re branded itself and now calling itself
Polaris Media Group and even held an event August 30th 2009 on the Gold Coast Australia where many new victims were recruited without being informed the name change had occurred because they were deemed illegal and about to be shut down in Australia.
It is believed the ACCC is no considering criminal actions against the most active associates in Australia and bank freezing orders to attempt to secure funds for the many victims of this American Based Company.
Many law suits and class actions apparently are being considered by victims and legal action has already commenced against an outfit call Six Figure Chicks, who the large majority of complaints have been received from for their aggressive high pressure sales tactics.
If you have been a victim of Liberty League you should contact the Department of Fair Trading or the ACCC to make a claim for a refund against your associate however their is no guarantee you'll receive your monies back. |
