Desperate Property Spruiker Neil Jenman planning to "stitch up" more consumers in last ditch effort for a grab for cash and credibility.
Our investigations reveal that Property Spruiker Neil Jenman is close to releasing his latest book called "Stitched", which is apparently about 150 property spruikers that he thinks you should avoid.
As expected, Neil Jenman himself isn't featured in the book despite himself being renowned as one of the most unethical property spruikers in the industry for the last 15 years.
For those not familiar with the Jenman Spruiking Scam, we exposed Jenman's tactics some years ago, but despite this he is still able to convince and deceive some less intelligent journalists and a small section of the media such as Channel 7's Today Tonight, who either don't care about the truth a great deal and are happy to peddle Neil Jenman's deception of consumers, or are simply too lazy to research into their stories for accuracy.
According to some reports, the Jenman Spruiking Scam has allegedly netted him over $10million in the last decade alone.
It's one of the most sophisticated scams in Australia and one of the longest running scams Consumer Warning has ever researched. Thus consumers in Australia should be wary of Jenman's continued operations and actions.
Jenman, who started out as a real estate sales person but is better known as a Property Spruiker, the very people he claims to hate, discovered there was more money in training other Property Spruikers allegedly on how to fleece naive consumers using clever deceptions, then selling real estate.
It all started many years ago according to the Sydney Morning Herald, when Jenman was boasting to a journalist that he made over $1million dollars in a single weekend by charging naive Real Estate Agents $10,000 a ticket for his real estate seminar.
The seminar effectively taught them how to profit from selling real estate by deceiving average consumers.
According to the Victorian Real Estate Institute, consumers should be wary of any Jenman Real Estate Agent, as they use some of the most unethical tactics that exist, all under the guise of being ethical Jenman Real Estate Agents.
The Victorian Real Estate Institute admits that the real estate industry often has dodgy tactics used by some agents. However, Jenman is the only one to deceive consumers on such a large scale by claiming that his agents only use ethical tactics while it simply isn't true.
After making $1million by selling 118 overpriced seminar tickets to real estate agents in a single weekend, Jenman discovered that it was much easier to flog real estate training to gullible and naive Real Estate Agents than to sell real estate itself which can be a tough business.
So he sold his real estate business and started flogging the Jenman Real Estate system.
His goal was to make $10million as fast as he could as according to Jenman this is how much he needed to be happy despite claiming to not be in it for money later. So he realized that just selling seminar tickets wasn't going to cut it. So he also started to charge the same Real Estate Agents that he could con into paying him $1500 a month ongoing to be able to be called Jenman Real Estate Agents.
As a shrewd marketer, Jenman knows how to manipulate real estate agents and the poor average Australian consumers and certain gullible sections of the media he knew. To have the scam net him $10million, he would need to create a point of difference for why agents should pay him $1500 a month and why consumers should only use his agents and not those unbranded normal real estate agents.
Thus he claimed that his agents were the only ethical ones despite being trained by Jenman's unethical tactics. Anyone else in real estate who advocated property as a way to create long-term wealth to their clients, whether a typical agent or even just seminar spruikers, were all conveniently dodgy according to Jenman.
Somehow Jenman got lucky because the Real Estate Industry is by some assessments, houses a lot of dodgy individuals but unlike many of industries that have both ethical and unethical operators.
In an attempt to con consumers and agents into using only his Jenman Agents for his scam to work, he had to ensure that any agent or spruiker not signing up to the Jenman system and paying him $1500 a month was all perceived as dodgy and should be avoided.
Basically claiming any competitor as dodgy was an effective way to grow his scam.
This obviously divided the real estate industry which was naturally outraged Jenman could use such low, dodgy, manipulative and un Australian tactics to grow his business and spread his scam by defaming anyone he didn't like who effectively were his competitors.
When asking Real Estate Institutes in Australia what they think of Jenman's tactics, in many cases we weren't able to print some of the words we heard which is such the disgust, such a mention of his name conjures up so many innocent people whose livelihoods and industry have been damaged or destroyed by Jenman's defamatory and dishonest claims or others simply can't stand how he can get away with such dishonesty to push his scam far and wide, making millions from damaging innocent people's reputation.
And the media lapped up the controversy and drama, creating massive free publicity for Neil Jenman, which led him to making over $12million in sales from his elaborate scam.
That's right.
Over $12million making it one of the largest scams perpetrated in the Australian Real Estate Industry ever.
Many agents, who now feel misled, deceived and tricked by the fraudster, admitted that they signed up to the Jenman system purely because they wouldn't be branded unethical for not being Jenman agents.
Why the ACCC hasn't investigated Jenman's unethical tactics is somewhat concerning and this fact suggests that the regulators are often slow at protecting the average consumers. We have constantly seen with the ASIC and its failure to protect consumers from WestPoint Disasters and Storm Financial etc.
Now to ensure his scam lasted longterm he also had to promise his Jenman Agents fresh real estate leads monthly, leads who were interested in buying or selling property.
Thus this is where you as a consumer were now targeted by the Jenman Scam.
So to pull this off he created a false facade and started claiming that he wasn't a property spruiker and dodgy like the rest of the industry which weren't signing up as Jenman agents but a Real Estate Consumer Advocate.
That's right
He claimed that he was a consumer advocate and he was out to protect the very consumers. However, his goal was actually to blatantly use and deceive to ensure his scam worked on a major scale and to apparently protect them against the Real Estate Agents who refused to sign up to the Jenman system and wouldn't become Jenman Agents.
To do this he started running free consumer seminars to warn consumers how dodgy the Real Estate Industry was to avoid typical real estate agents.
Jenman was an expert at knowing the dodgy tactics used in the industry as it has been claimed he was one of the most unethical real estate agents to ever operate in Australia.
So after the so called free consumer seminars where the poor average consumer had no idea of the elaborate scam Jenman was pulling on them, the attendee's names would be passed onto his Jenman Real Estate Agents to try and flog property to or get their listing to sell their home.
This was actually easy to do as Jenman had scared his audiences so much by telling them how dodgy the industry was and only ever deal with Jenman Real Estate Agents.
He even wrote a book on the topic as part of his elaborate scam.
This scam went on for years from the momentum created from the free publicity whenever he attacked someone in the industry and also the poor reporting of some sections of the media such as Channel 7 Today Tonight which were also completely fooled by the Jenman Scam. They actually believed he was a Real Estate Consumer Advocate despite it being obvious to anyone doing some basic research it was a simple elaborate ruse to scam agents and consumers.
These days though more and more agents and consumers discover they have been allegedly scammed for millions by Jenman and Jenman Agents .They have taken legal action as they realized the extent of dishonesty of the man who had allegedly scammed over $12million from agents. He used consumers to feed his empire.
These days however it is reported Jenman is so desperate for funding he is begging consumers to donate money to his website to continue his so called Consumer Advocacy and protect them from the dodgy industry which now appears to be anyone he doesn't like.
Jenman is one of the most unpopular people in the entire real estate and industries. He has a lot of people he doesn't like and continues to defame on a day to day basis to try and generate much needed publicity to keep his ego growing and his empire from complete collapse.
However, people are tired of his tactics and Jenman has now been sued so many times for defamation. His wife has even informed him to stop his defamatory actions according to some reports. But Jenman apparently won't stop until he gets his swansong swipe at an industry that he has tried to destroy from jealously and revenge.
To generate as much publicity as possible, Jenman is about to release his latest book called "Stitch" "Stitch" is allegedly about 150 property spruikers who of course are apparently dodgy as he doesn't want consumers to deal with them because they don't like Jenman's unethical ways and have been outspoken in some way about Jenman
He doesn't like Meaning competitors and people for no other reason. Competitors don't agree to his unethical tactics or he hopes will generate more publicity for him when they complain.
Apparently, to continue to fool some sections of the gullible media he includes some truly dodgy individuals in the list to muddy the waters we've been informed. So the average consumer or journalist has no idea which of the 150 individuals he blatantly defames is actually credible .He add a lot of value to society and which ones deserve being exposed for poor business practices.
Spruikers don't like him simply because he is exposing their tactics .In reality it appears thousands don't like Jenman simply because of his dishonesty, deception and He allegedly scamming $12million from Australians but yet to face a single fraud charge because of his elaborate ruse.
To try and gain credibility, Jenman finds a few victims of scams who he helps out. So he has some rare examples of people he can claimed he has helped genuinely despite a former employee informing us
"Jenman doesn't do anything to help other people unless there is something in it for him. it's very clear Jenman is interested in helping only one person and that's himself and inflating his ego by appearing in the press as much as possible no matter what gutter tactics, lies and deceit he has to resort to."
Another former employee highlighted that in recent years Jenman is suffering from a mental illness and is no longer sane which may go someway to explaining his actions.
If you've had any experience with Neil Jenman , even if you think he has helped you, then let us know as we will continue to update consumers and warn them about his ongoing alleged scam and deception of the Australian Public to ensure eventually authorities or the courts bring this man to justice once and for all.
